The Georges bag handcrafted in Italy, is named after the brand's founder, Georges Carel. Inspired by an archive, its shape is reminiscent of a book, echoing our history: in the 1950s, Carel opened its very first boutique on Boulevard Saint-Michel, a stone's throw from La Sorbonne. The first customers are students and professors from the legendary Parisian university. Since then, Carel has maintained a special link with the academic world, and in particular literature: we like to imagine the Carel woman as erudite and literary, intellectual, but always with a touch of humor. For her, this is the ideal bag.
