On the occasion of Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2026, Maison Carel is proud to announce its third collaboration with designer Alphonse Maitrepierre, designing the shoes for the runway show of his collection entitled "En plein cœur".
Presented in the heart of the Museum des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, this collection pays homage to the legacy of Paul Poiret, an emblematic figure of 20th-century haute couture, as part of the exhibition “Paul Poiret, fashion is a celebration”.
Between past and present, Maitrepierre tisseur sensitive dialogue where creation becomes a space of memory, innovation and responsibility.
Carel, a Parisian house with timeless expertise, supports this vision by designing shoes that are elegant, bold, and deeply rooted in the spirit of the times. With their graphic lines and retro-futuristic details, the models created for the show embody the essence of this artistic and technical collaboration.
True to its sustainable values, Maitrepierre extends its collaboration with NONA Source through a collection created from deadstock and certified materials. Alongside Teinturess de France by Serge H, the house explores innovative techniques: 2D/3D embroidery, laser cutting, ozone treatments, pushing the boundaries of contemporary craftsmanship. With Carel, it affirms a conscious, joyful, and forward-looking fashion.
