Carel has always been there for life's big moments. Elegant, timeless shoes, designed to journey through memories and accompany the most important moments.

It is therefore natural that Carel is now partnering with Laure de Sagazan, a key figure in contemporary bridal fashion since 2011. The Parisian brand has established itself with its unique approach to the wedding dress: a style that is delicate, modern, and imbued with poetry.

Each dress is custom designed and made in her Parisian workshop located at 102 rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière, where pattern makers and seamstresses craft each creation with care.

The encounter between the two houses came about very naturally. During a photoshoot organized by Carel in Laure de Sagazan's workshops, the teams discovered a hidden treasure: precious lace from past collections, kept in stock and left unused.

The idea for a meaningful collaboration was born: to give new life to these delicate materials by applying them to some of Carel's iconic artisan models.

This upcycling approach becomes the collection's starting point. The carefully selected laces are integrated into the shoes to dialogue with the designer's dresses.

Each pair thus becomes a natural extension
of the bride's silhouette, creating a harmonious ensemble between dress and shoe.

This partnership is also a natural fit in terms of style and culture. On the one hand, Carel perpetuates French craftsmanship through shoes with a strong character and timeless appeal.

On the other hand, Laure de Sagazan embodies a modern vision of bridal couture, entirely crafted in her Parisian workshops.

Two houses that share the same commitment to craftsmanship, quality materials, and responsible manufacturing.
