It is only natural that Carel has chosen to partner with Laure de Sagazan, a leading name in contemporary bridal fashion since 2011. The Parisian brand has distinguished itself through its unique approach to the wedding dress: a style that is delicate, modern, and imbued with poetry.

Each dress is designed and made to measure in its Parisian atelier located at 102 rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière, where pattern makers and seamstresses meticulously craft each garment.

The meeting of the two houses was very organic. During a photoshoot organized by Carel in the workshops of Laure de Sagazan, the teams discovered a hidden treasure: precious lace from past collections, left unused.

The idea for a meaningful collaboration was born: to give new life to these delicate materials by applying them to some of Carel's iconic artisan models.

This upcycling approach became the starting point of the collection. The carefully selected lace is incorporated into the shoes, creating a dialogue with the designer's dresses.

Each pair becomes a natural extension of the bride’s silhouette, creating a harmonious ensemble between dress and shoe.

This partnership is rooted in a clear stylistic and cultural alignment. On one hand, Carel upholds French craftsmanship through its shoes with strong character and timeless allure.

On the other hand, Laure de Sagazan embodies a modern vision of bridal couture, fully made in Paris in her ateliers.
