Carel opens its new boutique at 119 rue de Turenne, in the heart of the Marais.
A space designed as a vibrant showcase, where our exclusive capsule collections, artistic collaborations, and most inspiring cultural events will be unveiled!
Conceived by exhibition curator, set designer, and artistic director Raphaël Giannesini, the boutique pays homage to architect and designer Andrée Putman. Spanning 70 m², it features an iconic black and white checkerboard, a nod to her mischievous and timeless chic.
More than a boutique, it's a true living space. It features Carel icons since 1952, rare vintage pieces, as well as contemporary drops in shoes, leather goods, and accessories. The space will also host capsule collections, specially designed for this location.
The flagship store is also becoming a cultural stage, a space to share. Artists will be regularly invited to showcase their creations and interact with visitors over a coffee and a book offered with each visit.
For this first installation, Carel welcomes the talents of Francisce G. Pinzón Samper, Déborah Bowman, and Maty Biayenda, who will create an artistic experience that is both intimate and immersive, where furniture, objects, and memory interact in an immersive experience, blending art and fashion.
